Did you know that big corporates actually hire supervisors with nlp knowledge?
Its in one thing to hire a supervisor who knows the job, however a job can be learned in a couple of weeks. The rare thing to find in supervisors today is the ability to motivate and share the companies visions and the ability to solve conflicts.

Now….a person with nlp knowledge has all these pieces, since its the essentials of nlp as a science.

Always mention in your cv or resume if you got a nlp certificate, because companies are well aware of what nlp is and what nlp can do for a company.

Just becausebyou got nlp skills it doesnt mean you have to go solo!

Did you know that companies spends hundreds of million dollars yearly to bring their staff to motivation seminars etc? Now imagine to have a “motivator” inside the walls of the company always there for the company and its staff

How can one use NLP if youre a supervisor?
Wellington there are à hundred ways to use NLP as a supervisor.
The best Two ways of using NLP in this case is when you want to motivate your employees or when handling conflicts.

Motivation: keep this in mind….. What motivates you does NOT motivate others. Think about this. Would you bet your house on That the favourite food of your employees are the same favourite food as yours? If you cant bet your house on this…..you shouldnt bet your career as à supervisor That what motivates you MUST motivate others.

Conflicts: when you act impartial in à conflict at work, are you sure That you are impartial? Even if you dont favour one employe over another you can not be sure That the people whom the conflict concerns experiences you as impartial. Keep in mind That your employes work with you 9 hours à day…..and there may have been à hundred occassions where your employees have experienced That you have smiled more often towards other employees or even given someone else more attention. If you have Two children and one of them feels less loved and That they get less attention from you, you got a big problem as a parent. Kids are less complicated….and they dont have Bills and debts to think about or à career to think about.

In NLP there are really efficient ways of dealing with these problems That a supervisor Will face. And i Will write about these NLP techniques in My next posts.

What is the most beauteful word in the world?
Well, usually a beauteful word describes something beauteful.

But NLP researches have shown that the most precious, the most beauteful word we know and react on is our own name.
Most people tend to forget this, and take it for granted. But think about it.

Imagine these two scenarios, and you can answer which of the scenarios you would react most positive on.
The CEO (you´ve never meet him in person) of the global company you´re working for with thousands of employees comes in to your office and holds a beateful AMAZING speech.

OR….
The CEO of your global company (you´ve never meet him before) with tens of thousands employees comes to your office and shakes the hand of everybody. A couple of hours later you´re standing by the coffe machine and the CEO is suddenly there waiting for a coffe also, and sees you and says: Oh hello Mete (your name), what did you think about the seminar?

The effect someone has on us when using our name is so powerful and yet so underestimated.

Imagine if you went to buy a burger from McDonalds, and when the young guy/girl asks to take your order, you reply: – Hi Steve, i will have this and this…..
Will you be just another customer for him…, or somewhat unique for him. Do you think he gives you those extra fries you wanted?

Or imagine this.
You´re going for a job interview, you´ve already checked up the names of the people who will interview you for the job.
You´re waiting in the lobby, and one of the interviewers comes out to shake your hand and tell you welcome, when you suddenly say: Oh Hi Mrs. Joansen…how are you?

In her mind, Mrs Joansen will like what she has heard, she is also wondering how you could knew her name, but at the same time she feel suddenly a bond between you. And that connection….CAN´T hur your chances of getting that job.

This is the easiest NLP technique i know i can use in my daily life.

Instead of just saying Hi to your co-workers, use their name instead: Hi Kelly ….you make her special…its her precious name…the name she had since she was 2 months old.

If you agree with me or not, please give me a responese.

There are nothin as energy stealing as a bad co-worker relation.
Coming every day to work knowing that you can´t stand that person! Just hearing their voice makes you want to strangle them right?

I bet the other person feels the same about you, usually they are.

So, how can we use NLP techniques to solve this problem.

Just follow this NLP steps.
1. Ask the person that you need to talk about your problems you have, and that you´ve read a cool book about how two people that annoys eachother can actually live with eachother and feeling dependent on eachother.
Obviously the reaction will be…oh no….i dont know. But you can ask a supervisor to help you to do “this little game” that is proven by life coaches (meaning…the people that actually teaches the supervisors on how to behave) and that it will be all fun.

So once he or she agrees.
You go out to the dining room or the cafeteria. One of you has blindfolds covering the eyes. And the other one will be this persons guide. The blinded person is now suppose to find a red boll, that you have hidden somewhere.
And the only thing you (the helper) can do, is to instruct him to go strait, backwards, left and right…, you can even tell him to bow down, or reach up. Basically you have the remote control and instructing him with words where to go and how to go there and find it. Because the ball is hidden somewhere.
There are risks here…he might be hitting his head and such, but thats when YOU say stop, and help him…and vaguely tuch him on the arm that needs to be liftet , or help him with the leg with soothing voice and words such as: – you´re doing excellent.

Finally, when he catches the ball…you clap your hands together or hug!

And you do this exercise both ways.

The conclusion is that now you have gone out from your natural enviroment…your office…to play as kids.
But in this game…one person was blind folded, and limited…but determined to find the red ball. The other person was helping the blind folded with words, with gentle tuchs…with encouraging words as: ohhh you´re so close! ohh you did it!!

Your voice and your persona will now have a better image in his subcouncious, wether you believe it or not.

This is why big corporations spend millions of dollars each year around the world, to get their empoyees to get to know eachother, work together…solve things together…bond!
this is what we have done here now…with this exercise!

If you want an excellent icebreaker with your client, you could use this NLP technique.
It will blow their mind, and convinces your client/listener that NLP really works and that you can help them with…whatever.

Ask your client or listeners to stand up and try to turn their right arm as much as they can around their body backwards, while standing still. After a couple of seconds…they wont be able to turn it anymore. NOW tell them to remember where to their hands reached…marking some part of the wall or something…NOW..ok back to strait position. And relax! Close your eyes…and do the same thing in your eyes in your minds…but this time…turn the arm aaaaall the way around your body…without moving the arm, just mentally.
tell them: just imagine as if your arms is spinning slowly around all of your body….and goes back to the same position as your arms first was.

Now open your eyes!
Now i want you to open your eyes, and turn your right arm around as much as you can. they will…..hard and try. And now you tell them: look where your arms are now! (they will be astonished…affraid of how much futher their arm went than before) This shows how you can do wonders with NLP.
I´ve used this many times with my clients, and they almost roar of excitement.
If you want advice about how to write a marketing ad, then email me.

Have you ever noticed that some couples actually look alike?
I mean, you see the man and the woman and they look as if they are sibles, the face features, the “quality” of the hair…ther smell, everything look alike, even if they are not related by blood (obviously).

I went to a NLP seminar the other day, and this subject was discussed.
There is a concept of Mirroring and report in NLP. This basically means that you mirror the other persons body movements or breathing (in a subtle way) in order to create a sensation of belongingness. Because the more people can relate to someone the more they will trust you and the more you can effect them without “them” knowing why they have this good feeling about you.

Couples that are REALLY in love (whether you believe this is something devine or chemical in the body) actually mirror eachother without even knowing it. The way they smile and laugh, and move their lips while laughing…are mirrored.
Their face expressions while listening to a person talking….is learned and mirrored from eachother.
The way they “look sad”, not feel sad.

Think about this…, Because it makes no sense, logically, biologically or psychologically that two people who´s not related, looks as sibles.

If you want to try and really understand the effects/techniques of anchoring in NLP I advice you to follow this easy NLP method. Because, once it works (and it will) you will see the amazing things you can do with NLP and anchoring.

You will need an egg alarm clock.
Put the timer to maximum sound, and just drag it to a couple of minutes, e.g 10-15.
Now put the egg timer behind you on the sofa, just right behind your head on the sofa.
Now watch your favorite show for 20 minutes on TV. During this time, the alarm will go off and scare the hell out of you.

Now try watching this tv show after a week or so without the timer.
In that scene where the alarm clock went off, you will suddenly feel unease and anxiety right on that specific scene when the alarm clock went off.

Understanding this technique enables you to identify most of your anxiety and worries in life. Because they can relate to something.

Now im going to talk a bit about how to withdraw from painkillers by using NLP.

Dont forget that NLP is about changing thought and behaviour processes and is relatively uncommon to use this method. But i have tried this drug/painkilling withdrawal with 3 different clients and it gave the desired effect after 2-3 days.

The withdrawal will be done in 3 days maximum.
The clients i helped was addicted to tramadol a pharmaceutical the doctors describe that contains opiads (synthetic opium…said to be related to heroin).

The key to this nlp method is to first realise that the pain killers make you feel good right? its not that you need them physically….but it just feels damn good when you take them.

The opposite of this is to not take pills and feel horrible. you feel cold ( cold turkey) and depressed.

Ok… first lets find two things that you KNOW physically makes you feel good.
Im not talking about seing a piggeon getting fed or a beauteful flowers colours.
Something more concrete!

These are: a warm bath…sweeting and relaxing! since the heat and the feeling of water is directly soothing and subconciously reminds us about the safe place inside our mothers when we were yet not born.
when you go into a warm bath….lay down in foster position as you imagine a picture of an unborn baby.
The sensation of this relaxing sensation in the bath will go on for as long as you are in the bath.

When you exit the bath you will feel even better and more relaxed. Go lay on the sofa watch a movie that doesnt raise too much emotions. Watch an unrealistic sci-fi movie. entertaining you anf putting you into a “tv state” and this sensation of amazing relaxation on the sofa will last for an hour. Now…reward yourself with a glass of water!
since you´ve been sweeting for an hour and an half you will think more of a glass of cold water than on painkillers. this is 100% sure since the body and mind prioritizes survival first. In this case fluid…..water!
reward yourself with water..

(observe that you shouldnt drink the water during bath and/or 1 hour after….since you want the body to long and desire for water…your body should scream for water….so loud that your desire for painkillers is a drop in the ocean in comparison)

Now….when the relaxing feeling after the bath stops to have effect….repeat the process! it doesnt matter if you repeat it 15 times a day….as long as you feel good and burry the desire for painkillers by creating the bath-sweat-water process.

My clients have taken 12-15 baths a day and actually felt good while they withdraw from their addiction.
Dont mind what others will say if you take the baths so many times. Tell them you got the flue or something!

Oh and the best part: you wont feel the abstinens during your sleep, since your body will become so exhausted from the sweating…..you will sleep like a baby!

This process works and is an excellent way if you want to get rid of your abstinens within days and not weeks.
The trick is to “fool” your body and mind….and when you stop doing this process after 3 days…..the abstinens will have past.

The vast majority of people do NOT like to wake up to an alarmclock 06.00 a.m to get ready to work.
It´s very common to wake up and really dreading the day at work that is ahead of us.
However, there are ways to actually program your mind with NLP to wake up and actually feel different when you wake up to the sound of your alarm clock and actually looking forward to rest of the day.

One NLP technique to do this, without getting into complicated techniques are the following.

1. Put your alarmclock to 6.a.m on a saturday “work free” morning!
2. Stand up, do the usual morning routines you do when you go to work, such as having your shower “as long/short” as you do when you go to work. Or have your coffé, while you read your newspaper, sitting on the SAME place as you would do during a work day.
3. Get dressed as if you´re going to work, do your hair…etc etc.
4. Now, sit down on the sofa..or..find a great movie, or take a nice walk
5. Eat something nice, or buy something nice to eat….
6. For the rest of the day, you should do things you like or even LOVE!
7. Repeat this for 3-4 weekends…

This NLP Technique doesn´t teach you anything, but it PROGRAMS your mind and your emotions to actually associate the ringing of the alarm clock (during weekdays) as something pleasant…and as something relaxing!
Now, imagine going to work every day, and feeling good as if it was a saturday afternoon…EVERY DAY!

NLP is all about reprogramming and changing different behavior patterns.
With NLP, you don´t need to learn new things, but rather experiencing them…and your subconcious mind will take it from there!

It is proven that the people who are happy with their jobs, are “morning people” and not “night people” , meaning…that these are the people who finds the morning routine as something nice and look forward to it!
